Today I started my new job as account manager at Biletti.fi.
But this isn't just any new job. This is coming home — back to the event industry, where I've spent 17 years of my life. Back to the world where I know what it feels like to be both on stage and in front of it, both as an organizer and as a ticket buyer.
When I say I understand the event industry, I'm not talking about theoretical knowledge. I'm talking about practical experience:
I've been an organizer. I've planned, marketed, and produced around 300 events over my career. I know what it feels like when the budget is tight, the schedule is slipping, and stress is rising. I know how important it is for ticket sales to work when people want to buy — evenings and weekends, not just weekdays from 9 to 5.
I've been a performer. I played guitar for nine years in HesaÄijä Band across Finland. As DJ Snabu, I've played hundreds of gigs around Finland. I've seen what a full hall looks like and what an empty hall looks like. I've learned how small differences in ticket sales — early bird offers, group discounts, the right marketing — affect the outcome.
I've been a ticket buyer. I've stood in virtual queues myself, waited for confirmation messages, wondered whether to buy now or wait for a discount. I know what I value: clear pricing, fast process, reliability.
This is one of Biletti.fi's strengths. Our team is made up of people who have been on the other side themselves. We're not outside consultants speaking corporate jargon. We're former event organizers, producers, marketers.
We speak the same language.
When you call us, you won't get: "Consider synergies" or "Optimize your processes." You'll get an answer from someone who understands:
It means we can help you concretely:
Increase ticket sales. We understand how to get your event in front of the right audience. We've seen what works and what doesn't — in bar gigs, festivals, corporate events.
Grow revenue. We know how small changes can improve profitability without hurting the audience experience.
Reduce stress. We offer technical support that understands urgency — we won't ask you to wait until Monday morning.
Build trust. Ticket sales are first and foremost a matter of trust. People trust your event, and they need to trust the ticket sales process too. We help build that trust.
We're a small team, which means we're agile. We're not a rigid corporate ladder that requires three approvals before you can get help. We're always available, always supportive.
And because we've been on gigs ourselves, we also understand ticket buyers. We know how important it is to have:
The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is the opportunity to combine two passions: the event industry and helping others.
Over 17 years, I've built a wide network — artists, organizers, restaurants, festival organizations. Now I get to use that network to help others succeed.
I also get to continue what I do best: combining practical experience with technology. Biletti.fi is already the best ticket system in Finland, and now I get to be part of making it even better.
The event industry is unique. It's full of passion, dreams, stress, and joy. It's an industry where one night's success or failure can feel like the end of the world.
But it's also an industry where people understand each other. Organizers understand other organizers. Performers understand other performers. And now at Biletti.fi — former organizers understand current organizers.
Welcome. I'm happy to help.
